Flexible (or Fiberoptic) Endoscopic Evaluation of the Swallow also known as FEES is a prcocedure used to assess swallow function. During the test, a flexible endoscope is passed through the nose and positioned above the airway allowing one to see the swallow process in real-time, including the movement of the structures involved in swallowing as well as the passage of food and liquid. FEES is often preferred over other swallow tests because it can be performed at the bedside, is well-tolerated with no barium or radiation, and provides immediate results.

Misty Nall has over 15 years of medical speech pathology experience with an expertise in adult neuro rehabilitation. Her skillset has led her to building multiple rehab programs in a variety of settings, including inpatient rehab, outpatient, home health, and SNF.
Her passion for working with adults led her to furthering her skillset by specializing in several modalities and rehab techniques, not generally offered in her area.
Misty Nall was inspired to start a private practice in April 2022, after years of finding a lack of specializations within her field and desiring to reach more individuals in her areas of expertise.
